RTO7 Secures Federal Funding to Propel the Tech Compass Program in Bruce, Grey, and Simcoe Counties


Proactively Empowering the Future of Tourism in BruceGreySimcoe with Tech Compass

We are thrilled to announce that the Regional Tourism Organization 7 (RTO7) has secured crucial Government of Canada funding through the Tourism Growth Program, delivered by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario). This funding will support the implementation of the Tech Compass program, a forward-thinking initiative designed to accelerate digital transformation within the tourism sector in our region.

What is the Tech Compass Program?

The Tech Compass program is a collaborative effort between RTO7, Community Futures South Georgian Bay, and Rappid Software Design. It aims to provide tourism businesses in Bruce, Grey, and Simcoe Counties with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Up to 70 businesses will have the opportunity to participate, gaining access to expert guidance and funding to implement cutting-edge technologies that will enhance operational efficiency and improve guest experiences.
