Simcoe County Employer Survey 2022

Simcoe County Employer Survey 2022
A message from the Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development & Literacy Network (SMWDBLN):

The Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board and the County of Simcoe are excited to seek your input in the 2022 Employer Survey.

We are working with our partners across the region to contact as many employers as possible in order to gain a better picture of the workforce issues and opportunities in our region.

To support our efforts to reach as many employers as possible, the County of Simcoe has generously provided an opportunity for respondents to be entered into a draw to receive a gift basket (valued at $125) upon completion of the survey. Sourced from Farm2Door, this token of appreciation is made up of delicious pantry items that are all Made in Simcoe County. At the end of the survey, you will find space to enter your contact details and once you have submitted the completed survey, you will be entered into the draw automatically.

About the Survey

This survey seeks your expertise and insights as an employer so that we can form an evidence-based view on the employment and training needs in Simcoe County as we emerge from COVID and encounter new labour issues.  Simcoe Muskoka Workforce Development Board and Literacy Network (SMWDBLN) is a Not for Profit funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.

Complete the Survey

We invite you to participate in the Employer Survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D3KJHK7. This survey has 33 questions and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.  The results of this survey will be confidential, remain anonymous, and be presented in consolidated form. The survey will be open until October 6, 2022.

How Your Perspectives Will be Used

SMWDBLN and the County of Simcoe will use the data in three ways:
  1. We use the information to determine gaps and needs within our communities to inform which partnership projects we undertake for the next fiscal year
  2. SMWDBLN publishes a Local Labour Market Plan (LLMP) yearly and this information will be included in next February’s issue.  Our LLMP and current projects can be viewed at www.smwdb.com
  3. Your perspective will help inform future workforce skills training, programming, and planning in the County of Simcoe

Your insights are valued and help inform future projects!

Thank you for your support,
