Partnership Funding Update & News

Several Partnership Funding programs and marketing campaigns are well underway.  And good news - there's still time to apply for Partnership Funding.

RTO7 is working on Tourism Wayfinding Signage projects with the following partners:
  • County of Simcoe paddling signage (Nottawasaga River)
  • Town of Innisfil
  • Northern Bruce Peninsula (Lion’s Head)
  • Township of Huron-Kinloss
  • Bruce County (3 projects - gateway, directional and community signage / Bruce Trail signage)

In addition, we are working with the following partners on implementing digital marketing campaigns:

  • Tourism Barrie
  • Township of Clearview
  • Ontario’s Lake Country
  • Regional Tourism Marketing Partnership
  • Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce

And in Experience Development (Workforce), RTO7 is collaborating with Bruce, Grey & Simcoe Counties to deliver online customer service training for frontline tourism staff (and other first impression individuals e.g. gas attendants) within the region.

Funds still available in all three categories – please review Guidelines and speak to us directly if you have an idea that you think meets the partnership criteria.  Project submissions must be received no later than December 8, 2014.

Finally, please stay tuned for news of a possible 4th category of funding…
