Celebrate Ontario 2015 is Now Open for Applications!

Celebrate Ontario is an annual program that helps festivals and events enhance their programs, activities and services. This support helps grow tourism in the province by making it easier for event organizers to offer new and improved experiences that will attract more tourists and increase visitor spending.

Organizers of festivals and events interested in applying to Celebrate Ontario 2015 must do so using the Grants Ontario web-based application system.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Celebrate Ontario 2015 Application Guide carefully for detailed instructions on how to apply and for information on changes to this year’s program.

Information Sessions Are Back!

We are once again offering a series of online information sessions that will delivered via webinar using WebEx and teleconference to assist interested organizations in applying to the Celebrate Ontario 2015 program.  Six sessions will be delivered through WebEx, available in English or French.  Please register for your preferred date and time for participation in one or more of the Celebrate Ontario 2015 Information Sessions.

Regional Tourism Advisors are also available to help with any questions interested organizations might have about their Celebrate Ontario 2015 application.

The deadline to apply for Celebrate Ontario 2015 is November 6, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

The Celebrate Ontario Blockbuster category is available to support organizations bidding on and hosting major one-time events with operating budgets over $1 million.  Application information is available on the Grants Ontario website.  For additional information on this program, please contact Robert Sweeting at (416) 325-7426.

NEW for Celebrate Ontario 2015!

New for Celebrate Ontario 2015 is an opportunity for existing events with cash operating expenses of $1 million or more to apply for multi-year funding spanning two fiscal years     (2015-16 and 2016-17).  New events can not apply for multi-year funding.
