Ontario Commemorating 400 Years of French Presence by Supporting 62 Events Province-wide

Eight of these local tourist and cultural events are in BruceGreySimcoe!  They are:
  • "Wiidookdaadiwin" Working Together to Celebrate Aboriginal-Metis Legacy in the Barrie Area:  $14,250
  • Orillia400 (Chippewas of Mnjikaning First Nation), City of Orillia:  $4,750
  • Champlain's Astrolabe:  Navigating Culture Contact in a New World, (Township of Tiny), Midland:  $12,155
  • Spectacle communautaire - 22es Jeux franco-ontariens (FESFO), Penetanguishene:  $35,155
  • 400 Years of Franco-Ontarian History in Penetanguishene exhibit (Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives):  $4,750
  • Procession of Penetanguishene History (Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives):  $1,900
  • Le Festival du Loup en Nouvelle-France (Le Meute culturelle de Lafontaine), Tiny:  $19,000
  • Le Musée vivant de Lafontaine (La Meute culturelle de Lafontaine), Tiny:  $17,338
