Grey County Tourism's Spring Fam Tours - June 3 & 5, 2015

Grey County is hosting two days of familiarization (fam) tours in early June. The fam tours give tourism operators and their staff a chance to explore attractions, restaurants and more and then share this information with our seasonal visitors.

June 3rd Itinerary
  • Racing at Full Throttle Motor Speedway, Varney
  • Photographing and historical interpretation at Holstein Dam, Holstein
  • Picnic lunch with Chef Mark Breadner, Feastology (Food Truck & Catering Company) at the Waterfalls, Holstein
  • Bullfighting at Sol e Toiros, Dundalk (tagged with velcro, bloodless)
  • Tour, cooking class or paddling at Cedars of Lake Eugenia Cottage Resort, Eugenia

June 5th Itinerary
  • Learning and Sampling at Bighead Hops, Meaford
  • Hiking and caving at Singhampton Caves with Explorers Tread, Singhampton
  • Touring Kolapore Springs and Sampling Duxbury Cider, Kolapore
  • Dining in a forest setting with chef Shaun Edmonstone (The Bruce Wine Bar)
  • Savouring at Coffin Ridge Boutique Winery, Annan
  • Checking out what's new at Milk Maid Fine Foods & Cheese and Heartwood Concert Hall (presented by Owen Sound Tourism), Owen Sound
Cost is $35 per day (HST) included and pre-registration is required.  Note that an operator login is required to register, so please create one or contact Amanda Pausner.
