OLG Doesn't Cover Costs for a Referendum for Collingwood Casino

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says it's not within the corporation's mandate to cover the costs for a referendum to see if Collingwood's residents will support a casino.

Collingwood council has declined to be a host municipality for a 300-slot casino but is seeking public input on the possibility of an integrated resort development.  A request was sent to the OLG to pay for the referendum.
