Ben Lobb, Member of Parliament for Huron-Bruce, announced funding for two local festivals. The Canadian Big Band Celebration & Pumpkinfest will receive funding from the Government of Canada through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage Program.
The Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce will receive $3,400 in funding to help present 27th edition of Port Elgin Pumpkinfest in Saugeen Shores from October 4 to 6, 2013. The Canadian Big Band Celebration will receive $6,600 in funding to help present the 19th edition of the Canadian Big Band Celebration in Saugeen Shores from September 13 to 15, 2013.
