OAA to Cease Operations, Members to Conduct Activities Through ORHMA

At its recent Annual Meeting, members of the Ontario Accommodation Association (OAA) unanimously voted to approve these recommendations of the Board of Directors: to cease the operations of our 64-year-old non-profit organization, with our members conducting their activities thereafter through the Ontario Restaurant, Hotel and Motel Association (ORHMA).

“OAA members joining ORHMA will create a stronger, united industry association,” said OAA Chair of the Board SHARON MAHUSSIER to delegates at the association’s Annual Meeting, held at the Best Western Milton Inn, Milton. “This will benefit all of us with more leveraging power negotiating member benefits, and more leveraging power lobbying government to protect our livelihoods.”
