New Fire Regulations Affect Unique Rural Events

The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office set rules last year that require barn owners to bring their buildings to current fire and building code standards if they plan to regularly hold social gatherings in them.

Durham-area's Michael Schmidt and host of  "Symphony in the Barn" and other events held in his working barn, expresses about his frustration with the new rules.
