The Great Arc: Life on the (L)Edge being held in Tobermory in May 2015

The Door Peninsula is the central topic of a forum hosted by Sources of Knowledge (a non profit organization) on May 8th to 10th in Tobermory.  Registration is now open.

The forum focuses on those communities that are located on the geographical structure on the rim of the Michigan Basin is known as the "Great Arc" and to build bridges between them.  The arc extends northward from the Niagara Peninsula through the Bruce Peninsula, across Manitoulin Island and beyond to Michigan.  The forum explores the similarities and differences between the Door and Bruce Peninsulas, including tourism as their economic base.

For more information on the program and to register, visit the Sources of Knowledge's website.
