RTOs 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 have written a
letter to Environment Minister Peter Kent to request an extension of the moratorium on cuts to operating schedules until Parks Canada, involved agencies and government organizations, the private sector and other key stakeholders can be brought together to develop a strategy for sustainable operation of the waterways into the future.
