Funding Available for Festivals and Events Through Arts and Heritage Program

There are funding opportunities for festivals and events with the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage (BCAH) program at the Department of Canadian Heritage.

The BCAH program April 30 intake is open, for events and celebrations taking place between January 1, 2020 and June 30, 2020. Prospective clients will be able to submit their applications until April 30th, through the Canadian Heritage website.

Your festival/event could be eligible to receive financial assistance for expenses related to local arts and heritage programming. Events and celebrations should last two days or more to be considered for funding. For those organizers wishing to submit an application, please review the Application Guidelines beforehand and refer to eligible and in-eligible activities.
