Festivals and Events Ontario 2016 Award Recipients Recently Announced

BruceGreySimcoe festivals and events were included when Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) recently handed out their annual awards and announced the 2016 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario.  The awards were given out on Friday, March 4 during FEO's Annual Conference in Markham, Ontario.

The Apple Harvest Festival and the Apple Pie Trail (Blue Mountains) was awarded an Achievement Award for Best Community Partner Outreach Program, $100,000 or less.  The Township of Clearview was the recipient of the Best Promotional Campaign ($100,000 to $500,000) for its Small Halls Festival.

And, among the 2016 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario are:
  • Barrie Automotive Flea Market (Oro-Medonte)
  • Salsa at Blue Mountain (Blue Mountains)
  • Lighthouse Blues Festival (Kincardine)
  • Collingwood Elvis Festival (Collingwood)
  • Carrot Fest (Bradford)
  • Canada's Only Guitar Trail (Blue Mountains)
  • Meaford Scarecrow Invasion & Family Festival (Meaford)
  • Blue Mountains Apple Harvest Festival (Blue Mountains)
  • First Light at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons (Midland)
  • Barrie Winterfest (Barrie)
