Have Your Say on Bill 108 - Housing Strategy Consultation

As a tourism business owner, are you concerned about affordable housing for your staff and/or how the Ontario Municipalities' Board's return will affect land-use planning where you live?  

The provincial government is proposing changes to the Provincial Policy Statement to help increase the supply of housing, support jobs and reduce barriers and costs in the land use planning system.  

Add your input in two ways, through TIAO and through the Housing Strategy Consultation process. 
  1. TIAO members can submit comments/recommendations to Alex, the Director of Policy and Research, via email at arodgers@tiaontario.ca. Deadline for submissions is Friday, September 6, 2019.
  2. Comments can be submitted directly through the province's consultation website.  The consultation closes on October 21, 2019.
