2015 Celebrate Ontario Recipients Announced

Ontario is supporting a record number of festivals and events across the province that will draw tourists, create jobs and grow local economies.  Sixteen of the funded events in 2015 are located in BruceGreySimcoe.

They are:
  • May 16th to Oct 12th:  VillageXXI, The Blue Mountains - $69,952
  • July 3rd to 7th:  Jazz On The Mountain At Blue, Collingwood - $69,412
  • July 10th to 12th:  Lighthouse Blues Festival, Kincardine - $22,275
  • July 17th to 18th:  Budweiser New Music Fest, Barrie - $45,000
  • July 23rd to 26th:  Collingwood Elvis Festival, Collingwood - $61,200
  • July 24th to 26th:  WayHome Music and Arts Festival, Oro-Medonte - $135,000
  • July 31st to Aug 2nd:  All Things Canadian:  Rendez-Vous Champlain 2015, Penetanguishene - $24,750
  • July 31st to Aug 2nd:  Electric Eclectics Festival, Meaford - $12,600
  • Aug 1st to 3rd:  Sidelaunch Days - Collingwood Harbour Celebration, Collingwood - $14,625
  • Aug 6th to 9th:  Boots and Hearts Music Festival, Oro-Medonte - $270,000
  • Aug 7th to 9th:  Sauble Sandfest ~ Back to the Beach, South Bruce Peninsula - $22,500
  • Sept 15th to 20th:  Barrie International Comedy Festival, Barrie - $45,000
  • Sept 18th to 20th:  Wasaga Beach Blues Festival, Wasaga Beach - $19,575
  • Oct 1st to 4th:  Small Halls Festival, Clearview - $44,100
  • Dec 26th to Jan 3rd, 2016:  Carve This Way!  Collingwood Ice Sculpting Festival - $25,425
  • Feb 12th to 21st, 2016:  Snowflake Carnival, Collingwood - $24,300
