Ontario is now accepting applications for Celebrate Ontario 2018 funding from tourism festival and event organizers across the province, supporting higher impact events that attract tourists and create jobs.

Celebrate Ontario is a grant program that helps festival and event organizers enhance their programming, activities and services so that they can draw more tourists and create jobs in communities across the province. Last year, the program supported the largest number of festivals and events in the history of the program.

For 2018, the province is improving the application form to make it easier and more convenient for tourism festival and event organizers to apply to Celebrate Ontario. Applicants can also join online information sessions to learn more about the program.

The deadline to apply is November 9, 2017 at 5 p.m. Recipients will be announced in spring 2018.

Investing in local tourism festivals and events is part of our plan to create jobs, grow our economy and help people in their everyday lives.
