Internet service in rural western Ontario focus of new study

Better Farming reports that a group of western Ontario counties, including Bruce, Grey and Simcoe, has commissioned a study to determine what Internet infrastructure is available in their region along with the community's need for service.

The study is funded by the Western Ontario Wardens' Caucus Inc. who is working with the University of Guelph.  The final report is expected in August.

Rural business owners and residents can participate in the study by visiting www.wowc.ca and indicating what speed of Internet they have at home.
