Discovering the challenges services providers and workplaces face when working with newcomers has been a crucial exercise in creating the right resources and tools for more effective communication. Let's turn challenges that are often associated with cultural differences into a source of creativity and innovation and cultivate a welcoming community.

Objectives for the session:​
- Understand the challenges newcomers face when settling in a new environment of a rural community.
- Highlight the benefits of having cultural diversity within the community and workplace
- Build awareness of basic fundamentals in intercultural competency
